Who is Daniel Fagerberg?
Daniel is 46 years old and lives with his wife and their two sports-interested children in a house outside Malmö. He enjoys spending his free time outdoors, often mountain biking or hunting—activities he finds both restorative and energizing.
Personal Life and Interests
In addition to outdoor life, Daniel is actively involved in his children’s sports associations, supporting their ambitions and dreams. He was previously active in competitive sports himself but now dedicates his energy primarily to supporting his children’s activities. The family also shares a passion for renovation, continuously bringing new ideas and projects to their home.
Extensive Experience in the Security Industry
Daniel has worked in the security industry since 1997, beginning his career as an electrician at Elektro Sandberg. He quickly developed an interest in low-voltage systems and technical solutions, which led him to work with installations such as burglar alarms, access control systems, and fire alarms.
When the company evolved into a fire alarm installation firm, new opportunities arose, prompting Daniel to pursue certification as a fire alarm engineer. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience with various fire alarm systems, encompassing design, installation, servicing, and maintenance.
Most recently, Daniel worked for an inspection company conducting contract inspections, delivery inspections, and numerous revision inspections for fire and evacuation alarms.
New Challenges at SBSC
In his new role at SBSC, Daniel will initially work as a certification engineer specializing in fire safety. His responsibilities will include conducting audits of certified individuals and companies. With his broad experience in installation and inspection, Daniel looks forward to contributing his expertise and enthusiasm to the security industry.
“When the opportunity arose to join SBSC, it felt like completing the circle. I have worked with design, installation, service, maintenance, and most recently inspections. Now, having the chance to work with certifications feels like a natural next step, providing me with a comprehensive view of the industry”, Daniel says.
