“We are very proud to have certified Robur Safe as the first company according to ISO 27001. Their clear drive to strengthen information security in an increasingly digitalized security industry is impressive. The certification shows that Robur Safe is at the forefront regarding technical competence and their ability to build customer trust. We look forward to following their continued development,” says Mårten Wallén, CEO at SBSC.

For over 50 years, Robur Safe has delivered physical security solutions to government agencies, banks, and companies—including vaults, security cabinets, and software solutions with stringent requirements for secure communication.

Choosing SBSC as the certification body was an obvious decision for Robur Safe, which has enjoyed a close collaboration with SBSC for many years concerning product, quality, and environmental certifications.

“We have always found SBSC to be highly professional. In this case, we particularly appreciated the clarity and concreteness of the audit, which helped us build an effective management system. It has been challenging, but also very rewarding,” says Peter Blomdahl, CTO at Robur Safe.

Through the ISO 27001 certification, Robur Safe strengthens its information security efforts at a time when digital trust is essential.

“We operate in a trust-based industry, and ISO 27001 certification strongly confirms our serious commitment to information security,” says Peter Blomdahl. “The certification gives us an essential quality seal, particularly in collaborations with governmental and financial institutions.”

During the certification process, Robur Safe implemented a more comprehensive risk assessment of its information assets and increased awareness throughout the organization about secure information handling.

“It’s not just about technology; it’s about behavior. Perhaps the greatest benefit is that we have elevated the entire organization’s competence. Understanding information security and acting accordingly will greatly benefit us, both as a company and as individuals,” says Peter Blomdahl.

SBSC’s certification according to ISO/IEC 27001 is based on an independent audit evaluating the organization’s ability to identify, manage, and enhance its information security according to international standards.
