Have you ever employed someone who made a great impression during their employment interview but turned out to be completely wrong for the job? Is your company involved in protective security procurement? Since four of five crimes committed at a workplace are inside jobs, it is important to find out as early as possible that your employees do not have criminal intentions.
Why are we offering this lecture?
The recruiting process is often time-consuming and expensive. What is more, employing a criminal can have disastrous effects. Many security providers are also engaged in protective security procurement processes which are subject to stringent demands on the security clearance of personnel. We are offering SBSC-certified customers this lecture in the form of a webinar in order to elevate your understanding of background checks and security clearance in order to minimise the risk of employing a person with criminal inclinations.
The purpose of the lecture
The goal of the lecture is to provide you with a better understanding of the importance of background checks and security clearances when recruiting employees, while they are working for your organisation, and upon conclusion of their employment. The lecturer will shed light on the methods and tools you can use in the recruiting process as well as day-to-day work.
The lecture is full of important information and is divided into two blocks:
Block 1: Pre-employment background checks
- Recruitment checklist

- Security clearance interview, including examples of content and implementation
