Cybersecurity Month

‘Think Before U Click’ #ThinkB4UClick - the two themes of the ECSM2022 campaign are: Phishing and Ransomware. The main objectives of the 2022 campaign are to ensure that end-users and organisations are well informed on the potential cybersecurity risks and that they stay safe online. The general intention is to help EU citizens develop a basic understanding of the different types of online security and privacy issues.

European Cybersecurity Month is coordinated by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and the European Commission, and supported by EU Member States and hundreds of partners (governments, universities, think tanks, NGOs, professional associations, private sector business) from Europe, and beyond.

The campaign is a long-term effort (in 2022 the 10th anniversary will be celebrated) and the goal is to raise the awareness and competence of private individuals and companies to more securely handle, for example, passwords, e-identification and other important information.
